Lexi Sabel grounded into a fielder's choice in the top of the seventh inning, driving in Lauren Stettbacher.
Sabel's RBI ended up being the game-winning run in North Fond du Lac's 3-2 win against Laconia on Monday afternoon in Rosendale.
The Orioles (7-7 overall, 4-5 in Flyway) scored runs in the third, fifth and seventh innings and relied on the pitching of Leah Patterson, who allowed just four hits and a walk to the Spartans.
Right fielder Aubrey Maurer tied the game with two outs in the bottom of the sixth when she hit a two-run homer to center field, but Laconia (10-6, 5-3) could not sustain offense against Patterson.
Stettbacher and Allison Now both went 2-for-3 with a run scored for NFDL. Stettbacher also had an RBI.
Peyton Hall was her usual, terrific self in the circle on Monday afternoon.
Hall surrendered just three hits and struck out five in a complete-game shutout, leading Campbellsport to an 8-0 Flyway conference win.
The bottom of the sixth was the big inning for the Cougars (7-8 overall, 5-4 in Flyway), for they scored five runs. With the bases loaded, Lillian Twohig doubled to right field, driving in two. Olivia McCarty followed it up with a three-run home run to center field. McCarty finished 2-for-4.
Maliyah Galligan, who won the game she pitched this weekend, picked up the loss. She gave up 10 hits in six innings of work. Galligan was one of three Ledgers (5-9, 3-5) to record a hit offensively.
Lomira at Mayville & WLA at Omro both postponed because of unplayable field conditions.
